Team UA partners with American Cancer Society’s Making Strides against Breast Cancer for the 6th year in a row!

On Saturday October 11th, Team UA was in full force with approximately 55+ staff members, family and friends to participate in American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer local walk in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The outpouring of support and great weather made it a great Pink Day! It is our 6^th year walking and helping in fundraising efforts since 2009. As of October 14^th, we have raised $1,160 and are steadily moving towards our month end goal of $5,000.00. What is more fabulous, is that our amazing company Uniform Advantage will match every $1 dollar contributed!

To raise funds, Team UA has embarked on several initiatives at our Corporate Headquarters:

Cupcake sale

UAScrubs Facebook Campaign – Every new Facebook page “LIKE” we receive in the month of October, Team UA is going to donate $1 to Making Strides! We started October 1^st with 62,777 likes and we are at 63,745 to date on October 16th. We have 968 new likes so far.

We are going to continue the momentum and help raise monies and awareness and provide funding to those affected by this intimate and emotional disease.
